Dentistry is an ever-changing industry, with advancements in technology often leading to more streamlined and efficient treatments. Over the years, dentists have been dependant on classic crowns and veneers to fix any cosmetic issues. Today, 33 Dental can introduce a new technique known as ABB (Align, Bleach, Bond).
What is ABB?
Offering a three-fold treatment sequence, ABB is perfect for those who struggle with imperfections in their front teeth. A minimally invasive technique, ABB helps solve crooked front teeth, discolouration, as well as crooked or broken teeth.
How does ABB work?
ABB is capable of providing a full smile redesign, so much so, it is now becoming an increasingly prescribed treatment for patients. ABB works in three chronological steps, as follows:
1) Alignment – The first stage consists of tooth alignment, using one of the many treatment packages available at 33 Dental. They include but are not limited to, Invisalign, Inman Aligners, Incognito Braces and 6 Month Smiles. These procedures offer quick and safe results, aligning your teeth in a discreet and comfortable manner.
2) Bleaching – The second stage will allow your teeth to become up to twelve shades lighter. As per the Alignment phase, 33 Dental offers a number of different teeth whitening solutions. Patients can use treatments such as Home-Based Whitening, Enlighten Evolution and Pola Whitening among others.
3) Bonding – Finally, our dentists will begin the bonding process, whereby teeth edges are smoothed out and/or structured correctly to achieve a pleasing appearance. This will be the stage where corrections will be made to any crooked or broken teeth.
What are the benefits of ABB?
ABB treatment continues to be popular among 33 Dental patients. If you feel as though the treatment could be for you, visit our Contact page or call us on 0116 464 90021 to book your completely free consultation.
Many of you will be aware that during the latest Covid 19 update dental practices have been given the green light to re-open the surgery from 8th June. Whilst this is good news, there are a number of procedures that we have being putting in place to make treatment safe for our patients and staff, as we are sure you will appreciate, this is taking some time to set up.
Our intention is, if at all possible to commence opening on the 8th June but this is entirely dependent on our ability to obtain training and appropriate PPE which as you know there is a great shortage of. This equipment will be essential for us to be able to operate.
From 8th- 29th of June we will be prioritising the most urgent of cases including those who have been experiencing problems during this lockdown period. We will contact you directly to arrange an appointment. This period may be extended if required.
Rest assured we are trying our utmost to source this PPE as soon as possible to enable us to extend our treatment further to include fillings, crown/bridge work, root treatments and surgical extractions, scale & polish ect.
We anticipate that it will be several weeks before we will be able to commence these more advanced procedures.
This is a rapidly changing environment which we are adapting to as quickly as we possibly can. We really appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this difficult period and look forward to welcoming you back to the practice soon.
